I'm a retired RN & Educator, Consultant
So, with few exceptions I won't win the prize here. The one who can drive will and a car accident took my visual processing so that I'm unsafe. I'm gonna give you the best advice. Always drive defensively and don't get hit in the head. Also try to avoid catching Covid several times a year. If you have long COVID, the clinic at OHSU, Dr Herman is on top of things that blow my mind. I love me some doggies. My world was broken when I lost mine the first week of October '23. I'm Disabled. The world is designed biased against those who are disabled, who can no longer drive. If you are able surrounded by abled, it's hard to see. But free sights like this are first grab. HOW can I do that when Trimet lift requires a days notice by 5pm? Dogs and puppies are prices FAR out of a disabled person's reach. I cried more than you wanna know. An ADA accommodation voucher for a companion pet we have notes for is not unreasonable. I saved and 2 people donated and I have my puppy now by Lord's mercy. He was't even 1.5 pounds. ☺️. I think he is 4 now, and 4.5 months. We are super happy together. Cairn Terrier/ Chihuahua. He is Brindle! With that terrier face but mostly chihuahua body and momma was long hair. So he has curls and some long hair up front. Too cute! Big straight up ears with hair making them look bigger. Definitely growing. He's been sleepy last 2 days. My friend has a big kittie cat (allergic) and they are so wonderful and loving just like Eli and I. I was a Nurse before I was disabled. I did many careers as a Master's prepared RN. It was the joy and love and identity. Makes for a harsh fall. But that's been awhile and Covid has cured any thought of wanting it back.
